A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Biography
I am a Hawaii-born and Florida-native artist, currently working from San Diego, CA.
I have been painting since I was two years old, from watercolors as a child to acrylic and mixed media now, capturing moments in nature and moods on canvas with an emphasis on color.
When not painting, I love to run, hike, ski, travel and try out new curry recipes with my husband, Matt.
ABOUT MY PROCESS
My Work
Art inspiration for me is everywhere – from the many places I have lived, the countries I have visited, and the experiences I have enjoyed, all wrapped in capturing the beauty that is nature. I also create from an internal landscape, transcribing emotions into paint on canvas.
My recent work represents a journey of intuitively painting landscapes and seascapes, as well as floral and botanical studies drawn from inspiration provided by the beautiful surroundings of my current location.

I'm a member of an artist co-op, the Market Street Group in San Diego, CA and have exhibited in group gallery shows in San Diego, as well as my hometown of Tampa, FL.
